The NCF worship team leads the fellowship in musical praise and worship at the Sunday morning gathering and at special meetings. Our goal is to glorify God by first giving the Lord our personal worship and at the same time help each member of the fellowship enter into a personal and corporate worship experience. We believe that God is honored when we dedicate our musical gifts to Him and play and sing to His glory. We are continually open to adding new singers and instrumentalists to the worship team. If you are interested in being a part of the team please consider the flowing guidelines and

who will be more than happy to discuss worship opportunities and the audition process.
**We are currently open for auditions for singers, a keyboard player, and a percussionist. Visit us on Sunday morning for more information!**
Guidelines for Participation - Skill Level—Singers should be able to sing on pitch and to learn harmony parts as needed. It is not necessary to be able to read music. Instrumentalists should be competent on their instrument. Most music is presented in a chord chart format (lyrics and chords). Arrangements are seldom written out in musical notation.
- Time Commitment—Worship Team members should be able to participate in the Sunday morning service at least twice a month. Members are asked to attend a weekly rehearsal/worship time on Thursdays from 7:30-9:00 pm. Worship Team members are also expected to be at a Sunday morning rehearsal at 8:15 am. Team members are expected to participate in the entire worship service.
- Character and Attitude—Worship Team members are servants of God and of the church. Our primary goal is not musical performance or self-expression, but to build up the church while demonstrating excellence in worship and music. Members must demonstrate faithfulness, humility, and the ability to work as part of a team. We firmly believe that while a certain level of musical talent is required for participation, Godly character is more important than talent.
- Audition Process—Individuals interested in auditioning to become part of our worship team should contact one of our worship leaders. The team of leaders will arrange a 6-week audition process where an individual will be invited to play with the worship team at 6 practices on Thursday nights — two practices with each leader. Each worship leader will communicate feedback to the others and then all 3 leaders will meet with the individual to discuss the auditions and to discuss worship team participation. The 6-week auditioning process will allow us a wonderful opportunity to work with each individual and for each individual to experience our worship team, ask questions, etc.
