News!

Image Our Youth Pastor is famous! Brenda Seefeldt Amodea has, once again, been published in Youth Worker Journal! From Brenda's ten years of bridging parents to the youth ministry of her local church, Brenda has come up with ten reasons why every church should do this such as "Reason #4 - Parental involvement in youth ministry opens opportunities for kids who do not have good parental role models to adopt some proactive parents as positive role models. Even if you have youth who are coming whose parents are not a part of the church, they very easily attach themselves to other parents."  Make sure to congratulate Brenda on her accomplishment! We are so lucky to have her.

SERVE is trying to win a $50,000 Grant to replace the freezers in the Food Distribution Center which are worn down and broken.  It’s only through your Daily Participation and your Daily Support that SERVE will have a chance to win this badly needed money.  Their need is most urgent as they are now responding to the needs of nearly 950 families a month who are coming to them for food assistance.  Please help them win this grant to safely feed so many who deal with hunger – Support SERVE in the Pepsi Refresh Project!  Thanks to each and every one of you for your continued support!

ImagePassover Seder

This year we will be doing a big, church family Sedar at NCF on Thursday, April 1st (Maundy Thursday) from 7 to 9 p.m.  Because this will be a catered event, RSVP' are required. So, send your RSVP to Alicia in th church office ASAP. In years past we have done Sedar dinners in individual homes so it will be real treat to be all together this year. Some may be wondering why we are holding a Passover Sedar, as it is a traditional Jewish holiday. Remember that the "Last Supper" of Jesus with his disciples was actually a Passover Sedar and the event is rich symbolism and meaning as it relates to our salvation through Christ and the fulfillment of prophesy of His sacrifice. This is really going to be a memorable event and we hope to see you there! (Invite your friends and family members to come too! There will be a cost associated with the meal -- around $15 or $20 per person).
